Dale Ernst and his wife, Vikki, created Old Northwest Company, their Group and Individual Benefits Agency, in 1981 here in Memphis, TN. After 26 years, the franchise was sold. Dale became Group Benefits producer for First Horizon Insurance Group. After 6 years of production, First Horizon also sold. Dale joined Harris, Madden and Powell in Memphis as their Employee Benefits Practice Manager until his retirement in April of 2022.

During his 47 years of sales, Dale attained his Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU), Registered Health Underwriter designation (RHU), Registered Employee Benefits Counselor designation (REBC), Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow designation (LUTCF) and the Certified Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Professional designation. Dale believes education is the key to maintaining a caliber of excellence and knowledge his clients deserve.

Dale and his family currently live in the Memphis, TN area. He enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren, Lyla and Graham. He enjoys traveling along the side of his wife, Vikki, for 50 years. Dale and Vikki are life long Iowa Hawkeye fans and love supporting their Memphis Grizzlies. Dale is very active in his church community and donates his time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity as well as several other outreach ministries.
